HIGHTSTOWN INCLUDES CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Christmas Pageant during worship Dec. 9, 2007.  The message below was posted on the American Baptist website (http://abcnj.net)

A note from ABCNJ Senior Regional Pastor Lee B. Spitzer: " I had the pleasure of preaching at FBC Hightstown on November 25, and following the service, spent some time with the youth.  It is very encouraging to me to see the church welcoming children with disabilities and including them into the life of the church."

The Men's Fellowship meets monthly, on the second Saturday for breakfast at a local diner. In addition to enjoying fellowship with one another. The group also enjoys a devotional time. We also sponsor a eleven- year old Guatemalan girl, Blanca Estella, through AMG International, helping provide education, health care, and food.  The Men's Fellowship also undertakes fund raisers to to help support special projects of American Baptist Missionaries.

THE THRIFT SHOP, although not a Church organization, is actively supported by many of our members. It is a community outreach of the Live Wire Society. This group supports community projects through funds raised from the sale of donated items. The thrift shop is currently housed on the upper floor of our Sunday School Building.
